With filtraton down to .023 micron and 99.99% efficiency, this handy Sanitary Filter has many uses for the homebrew and winemaker. The filter is designed to fit our 1/4" food grade hose.

The Sanitary Filter has an arrow displaying which is the correct direction of air flow. Although it really doesn't matter which way you set it up, once you use it one way, you will always want to use it in that same way.

Be careful not to get the filter wet. This can negate it's effectiveness and destroy the filter.

To Store the Sanitary Filter, wrap some tinfoil around the hose barbs and place it into a zip lock and away from any excess moisture. The filter can last for up to 1 year if cared for and stored properly. Discard the filter if there are any signs of discoloration.

Some of the uses for the Sanitary Filter include:

• Use as an inline aeration/oxygenation filter. Simply place the Sanitary Filter inline between your oygen tank or air pump to and a diffusion stone for sanitary aeration/oxygenation.
• Use as an airlock when you are draining liquid from a fermenter such as our conical stainless fermenters, where air would be pulled into the fermenter. It will fit into a rubber stopper with standard size hole.
• Use as a method of sanitary air filtration when using a hand pump on a commercial keg. Using the Sanitary Filter will keep the beer fresh for longer periods of time!
